14 Apr 3 Easy Exercises to Prevent Back Pain- from the Physiotherapists
Sitting Exercise– you can do this right now and no-one will know. 🙂 Squeeze your buttocks and pull in your stomach. This will help you to improve your posture while sitting and strengthen the muscles. Also good for pelvic floor control and yes, this does apply to you men too!
Marching sitting down-simply march with your feet whilst sitting for 2-3 minutes or even for a few seconds. It will wake you up, and help the circulation in your lower legs and feet. Strangely, to do this, everyone I know immediately straightens her posture in their seat. We do not march while slouching. It’s a great one to do when you are working at the computer for a long period of time.
De-clutter your bags– minimize the risks of shoulder, back and neck pain by detoxing your handbag, briefcase, rucksack, gym bag etc. Why you’re at it, check on your children’s school bags too. Today’s schoolbag is causing many, many problems for the future health of our children’s bodies.
