What is the problem with poor posture?

Posture varies greatly from person to person and changes throughout the day and with different activities.

In todays environment, we can spend hours at a computer or staring at our phones which can cause in imbalance in muscles which can lead to issues such as back, shoulder or neck pain and even headaches.

First and foremost, it is important to get up and move regularly to prevent muscles from tightening up.  It is also advisable to look at your movement patterns and workstation set up.

An assessment with a physiotherapist can establish which muscles may be weak and which ones may be tight and can treat these issues accordingly and prevent future episodes of pain.
