  1. Look after your joints and muscles. Balance weighty bags and put them across your body if possible. Keep your knees bent whilst lifting.
  2. Wear your best clothes. Those clothes that make you feel good not the ballgown or tux. Even if it’s just your favourite undies why keep them for ‘best’.
  3. As time gets shorter, reward yourself more frequently. Little things like a walk in the garden for 5 minutes can help you relax the mind and prioritise the tasks ahead. The non smoker break where you take 5 minutes to deep breathe and connect with yourself.
